Who will the Ravens face in the AFC Conference Championship? Who will be home team?

The Baltimore Ravens are back in the AFC Championship Game after just over a decade away, after quarterback Lamar Jackson led John Harbaugh’s men to victory over the Houston Texans in Saturday’s Divisional playoff.

Jackson threw two touchdown passes and ran for two scores at M&T Bank Stadium, as the Ravens triumphed 34-10 to advance to the conference title decider for the first time since their Super Bowl-winning 2012 season.

Who will the Ravens face in the AFC Championship?

Having eliminated the Texans, the Ravens will now come up against either the Kansas City Chiefs or the Buffalo Bills on Saturday 28 January.

The Chiefs visit the Bills in the AFC’s second Divisional-round match-up today, Sunday 21 January, with kick-off at Highmark Stadium scheduled for 6:30pm ET/3:30pm PT.

It remains to be seen whether pop icon Taylor Swift will be at the Chiefs vs the Bills to watch her boyfriend, Kansas City tight end Travis Kelce. We do know, though, that Buffalo are to offer a nod to the visitors’ high-profile new fan by serving up Swift-themed food to match-goers in Orchard Park.

Who will be the home team in the AFC Championship?

After enjoying home advantage against Houston, the Ravens will be the hosts once again in next weekend’s AFC Championship Game.

The NFL’s playoff rules state that the team with the higher regular-season ranking plays at home in every postseason round before the Super Bowl. Having finished the regular season as the No. 1 seed in their conference, Baltimore headed into the playoffs knowing that whoever they faced, they would be guaranteed home advantage every step of the way until the NFL title decider, which is always held at a neutral venue.

Where will the Super Bowl be?

If the Ravens win the AFC Championship game at M&T Bank Stadium, the Marylanders will take on one of the San Francisco 49ers, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Detroit Lions in Super Bowl LVIII, which is to be played on Sunday 11 February at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada.
