How much prize money did Scottie Scheffler win at the Hero World Challenge?

Tiger Woods, the legendary Golf player, recently hosted his annual event in the Bahamas, which offered a whopping $4.5 million purse this year. The winner of the tournament received a grand prize of $1 million. The prize money has been increased from the previous year’s $3.5 million, which follows the trend of augmented prize money in professional Golf tournaments.

Scottie Scheffler, the PGA’s number one Golfer, won the limited-field and no-cut event after shooting 20 under, three strokes clear of second-place finisher Sepp Straka. All 20 Golfers made it to the end since there were no cuts, allowing them to capture a significant share of the prize purse.

The tournament host, Tiger Woods, did not have one of the most outstanding returns at the Hero World Challenge. Although he showed flashes of brilliance, he could not contend for the title. However, as he expressed on ESPN, he was mostly happy with his health.

“I still have the Game. It’s whether or not the body can do it. I’m very pleasantly surprised at how I’ve recovered every day. My activations in the gym have been good.”
