Kendall Jenner Tells: ‘You Don’t Know How Many Doors Closed On Me’
The oldest Jenner daughter in the Kardashian-Jenner, Kendall Jenner, clan recently sat down with V Magazine for their May issue, and may or may not have surprised many of us when she shared that her start into the fashion industry didn’t come easy.

While most people believed Kim Kardashian “bought” her way into that now infamous Vogue cover with Kanye, Kendall is letting it be known that her family background was the sole reason why it was actually hard for her to get a true start into the Business, contrary to popular belief.
Jenner told V, “You have no idea how many doors closed on me and how many adults were either initially reluctant to take a chance working with me or who outright laughed at me behind my back. It was kind of hard because all I was doing was going on go-sees, trying my best to break into this Business as a teenager.”

She expresses graтιтude to a few fashion folk that helped catapult her into the modeling world and credits her popular parents for instilling the idea of hard work in her.
“I am so grateful to Marc Jacobs, Riccardo Tisci, Karl Lagerfeld, and Katie Grand, who took a chance on me that first season and gave me an opportunity. My parents taught me that work ethic is one of the most important keys in life, and I believe it,” she gushed.
Vixens, you can check out the long-legged Jenner in all her Calvin Klein glory in the new issue of V on May 7th.
